Introducing Boat BINGO!

How do I play?

Just like classic Bingo, check off boxes on your Boat Bingo card and get 5 in a row (up and down, left to right, diagonally) to win. And checking off the boxes are half the fun because every rental or boat ride counts. The more boats you try out, the more boxes you check off. Both Chicago Electric Boat Company and Chicago Cycleboats rentals are in play, and certain days and rental times count for their own box.

What can I win?

Get 5 in a row and win $500 toward your next rental with either company. The credit is good through the end of the 2025 season.

Where can I get one of the cards?

Bingo cards can be found at all of our rental locations throughout Chicago. Look for them at Marina City, the Chicago Riverwalk, the Water Plaza, Rockwell on the River and Monroe Harbor. Grab one at your next rental or pick one up as you’re strolling down the Riverwalk and start planning your boat-filled summer of fun!

What kind of rentals count to cross off boxes?

There are lots of ways to cross off boxes! Of course renting different boat types will cross off boxes, but so will things like renting on a weekday after 4pm, renting from our different locations, taking a Guided Public Cycleboat Tour, and renting a boat for a fireworks show.

What are your different boat types?

We are so glad you asked! We are the only group in Chicago to offer this kind of boat variety and we can accommodate groups from 1-26 on a single boat. Some of our boats are self-captained and some come with a captain, but all of our rentals are BYOB.

Meet our fleet!

Duffy Boats

Our Pontoon Boats are self-captained and depart from Marina City and carry up to 10 passengers. It features comfortable, plush seating, optional canopy coverage and that classic pontoon layout. At 21′ long, our pontoons are spacious and offer a great setting for parties and celebrations.

Retro Boats

Our Retro Boats are the cutest thing on the Chicago River! Seating up to 4 passengers, these colorful, vintage boats have been restored and refitted with electric motors. Turn heads as you drive your little Retro down the River, all of our Retros are self-captained and depart from the Chicago Riverwalk and Rockwell on the River.

Donut Boats

As the name implies, our Donut Boats are shaped like your favorite breakfast pastry! These unique round boats mean there are no bad seats and are a fantastic way to enjoy a lazy little cruise down the North Branch of the Chicago River. Donut Boats carry up to 8 passengers, are self-captained and depart from Rockwell on the River.

Cycleboats

Operated by our sister company, Chicago Cycleboats, this is an entirely unique way to see the city. It’s just like a Pedal Tavern, but on water! Cycle at a cyclestation as you sip on your beverage of choice and explore either the Chicago River or Lake Michigan. Of course the actual cycling is optional (there are backup electric motors!) and no one expects you to break a sweat. Chicago Cycleboats offer a variety of boat sizes and cruise lengths, as well as a Party Barge option without the cycle stations. Rent out the entire Cycleboat (up to 26 people) or simply reserve a seat or two on one of the Public Cruises or Guided Tours. All Cycleboats include a captain and crew member and they depart from Water Plaza and Monroe Harbor.
